FLOWER CHILD ACT I-IV

Ever wonder how men don’t receive flowers? On any special occasion men never receive any types of flowers since society taught men receiving flowers would be weird or too sissy. It’s honestly really upsetting and completely stupid of how long this curse has been going on for. So for this final assignment I decided to push aside society’s awful blame for giving men plants as a gift. Flowers are beautiful and meaningful and it should be considered normal. I broke out of society’s terms a while back and began to give all my men from my life flowers for birthdays, games or anytype of special events. This theme is about how young boys can be seen normal holding and having their pictures taken with flowers in their hands. I want these portraits to show them it is normal to receive flowers from others and to make them feel shameful or embarrassed whatsoever. I hope to see this curse break within my family as when my nephews get older they begin to practice this tradition and pass along to other men in their life.
